About the photosI took these photos at Harvey Lake, in Harvey Station, NB one late night after work.
I worked a 14 hour shift, and as I was driving home, I noticed the sky flashing in the distance. As I got closer to Harvey, the lightning was more frequent, and by the time I got there, it was non stop. I drove to the lake, where I grabbed my camera and tripod. I spent around two hours taking photos. At one point, I was laying face down on the beach with my camera at water level, and I was resting my chin on my palms, and my elbows were touching the water while I waited for the shutter to close. I thought nothing of it until a big bolt of lightning shot across the sky pretty much over top of me. That scared me enough to get out of the water! It was worth it, because I got these shots! |
